Half a fitted waistcoat – created during Tailoring Skills Week at RWCMD in 2023.
This project involved applying traditional tailoring techniques, including precise pattern drafting and fabric cutting to ensure a perfect fit. I also utilized hand-stitching methods for finishing details, such as secure seams and edges, and practiced constructing structured elements like darts and panels for shaping. The process highlighted the importance of precision and craftsmanship in achieving a polished, professional result.
The workshop was led by Gregory Rostek from the Welsh National Opera [WNO]. View webpage [Here].
